Accessibility accommodations can include physical access to buildings and classrooms. A student can request these accommodations for both permanent and temporary disabilities.

3. Meet with the Section 504 Coordinator or their designee.

In an effort to better assist students who are requesting that their Emotional Support Animal (ESA) be permitted to live with them in 菠菜网lol正规平台 property, the Office of 学生生活 has developed separate guidelines for ESAs, 它们列在下面.

You must complete and submit all five of these documents in order to apply for this accommodation.

1. 注册 with the Section 504 Coordinator by filling out an online 住房 and Transportation Accommodation Application.

   Please Note: There are individuals and organizations that sell emotional support animal and/or service animal certification/registration documents online. These documents are typically not recognized by the ADA and the Department of Justice as proof of an emotional support animal or service animal. There are no official registries or certifications.

4. Submit an up-to-date picture of your ESA.
5. Schedule a meeting with the Section 504 Coordinator’s Office.

联系 the Section 504 Coordinator to schedule your in-person or virtual meeting. During an initial meeting, the Coordinator will discuss with you:

• Any other relevant information

Privacy Note: All documentation submitted to the Section 504 Coordinator is kept separate from an academic record and is considered private under the Family 教育 Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). There are times when the Section 504 Coordinator must share information with other faculty and/or staff on campus to facilitate accommodations in the classroom, 学生宿舍, 或交通.

All Service Animal requests must be sent to the Section 504 Coordinator, and will be evaluated on an individualized basis.
